@palus666 22 years service and rank of Sergeant is require to become a member of the Yeoman Of The Guard or a member of the Yeomen Warders. They are two seperate units :)
lapacman26 - that attitude could explain the appalling behaviour in public of most English school kids, not to mention an egoistic inability to "shut up, listen, and learn" (masses of stuff from this guy). But, it wouldn't only be this man telling you to shut up - it would be the entire group.
i have an uncle who left the army as an RSM. Army humour is the darkest, sickest, but funniest you will hear. I assure you this legend of a bloke is holding back... hard!
A great advert for the country and for the British Army. It's men like this who possess great character, personality, humour, intellect, recall and sheer presence that characterise all that's best about the British people. If ever history could be made fascinating and memorable here's the man to teach it. My sides are still hurting from laughter - absolutely unspeakably brilliant.
Thanks so much for posting these jec0066, they've really brightened my day, and restored my faith in the existence and value of real people unconstrained by PC.
Best series I have ever seen on YouTube. I have been to the Tower of London 4x and I never got Bill. But I can say all the other beefeaters are very good. Bill is exceptional.
Thank you so much for posting this. Bill Callahan needs to have INTERnational recognition. What a genius chap - so dead pan but factual and therefore intriguing. Come on, Bill - set up a website for your fans' ongoing personal development!!
@kipperwacker The man is brilliant. He said nothing that "foreigners" don't expect (and they laugh - perhaps not the Italians) even the Aussies.Yes, he was racist, bigotted, sexist but all said with a twinkle in the eyes.He made it interesting & inviting. Most importantly he spoke from the ordinary person's perspective (ie about Guy Fawkes), but I don't think for one moment he wants us to "rule the world" as he admitted we'd knicked much (including countries) at the point of a gun.
This chap should come on prescription to the nation! Imagine just how much more interesting history would be in schools if there was some-1 like him teaching it. It must be quite a challenge, when you have many different foreign nationals visiting the Tower,to be understood, & unconfusing. He is a genius at what he does & worth double whatever the entrance fee is.It's said that if the ravens at the Tower ever left then England would fall.Same applies to this man.Absolutely brilliant.
yeah - guy fawkes - 'the only honest man to enter parliament!' glad he slipped that one in. this guy is the kind of teacher every child should have. and yeah- he deserves some kind of honour. if very briton was like this we would rule the world.
@kipperwacker Hey, I AM the kind of teacher that would be like this, if it weren't for the whinging little horrors or their bleeding heart parents - "you can't say that, it's discrimination" or "but that's picking on people who aren't here / people who can't reply / abusing your position" etc., etc.
I tried to explain how Mr Bird invented custard powder, which is flammable and therefore explosive. All I got was "Why did he make that rubbish stuff? I make proper egg custard with my mum"
Utterly brilliant. This man deserves another MSM for his cameo performance - irreverent, funny, engaging, superbly informed and able to put over his story in a flowing entertaining manner that an ex-military fellow tour guide immediately recognises. Unbeatable and worth his weight in gold.
@robinbirrell Well spotted young man, What a cool guy, i would consider it an honour to have a beer or two with him.....total respect....i stand corrected

@lapacman26
I was an infantry solider in the British Army, including a lengthy tour on the front line in Afghan.
If your keen enough to check out my videos, you'll see some I uploaded where we pinned down our sergeant in Afghan and shaved his tash off.
Also, search youtube for L96 Sniper Rifle, the top result features yours truly in the video.
So yeah, I'm sure I would get battered mate.
p.s. - I don't have a single CoD video, fuck-tard

Not a lot of people know this but this Yeoman Warder is Bill Callaghan. He has been told off by the management of the Tower for his non PC manner.
If you like Bill's style drop him a line at the Tower and let him know.
Guys like him need our support.
