Yeah, most likely because the NES started to die around 1993, although Nintendo officially "retired" it in 1995. My younger brother actually loved the HELL out of Crash 'N the Boys Street Challenge.
I'm not all too familiar with the Riki Kunio games other than the ones that got altered and localized in the US: Renegade, River City Ransom, Super Spike V'Ball, and Crash 'N the Boys Street Challenge.
