Science has recently discovered that wen a human intakes alcohol be it by drug or liqour , its mmmm ingrediants or mmmmm d stuff which passes to d blood stays inside ur blood for 40 days (im sry my english is not good i cant get d ryt words) so basically thats d reason behind it cz its still there in ur blood regardless being in your stomach or not, so untill ur blood purifies again u cant pray (which takes 40 days)
