Thanks man, i really enjoyed your words, Im not religious in the slightest but im not Anti-religion either, im fascinated by the concept. I am adament that LOST is the greatest tv series of all time and one of the reasons is their desire to go places most tv shows wouldnt dare to go, thanks again.
DUDE!!! This is SO cool. I'm a christian and I've invested a lot of my time into this great show. I knew it had a spiritual undertone to it, but I was beginning to fear that it might be a false type of redemption that the show was teaching. Thanks this is great.
@RiversideGospel Sorry I don't have a link, but a news article verified that was not actually part of the story. The wreckage was inserted by network executives as a buffer to soften the transition between the credits and the local news broadcasts. Confusing (even kinda silly?) - yes. Lots of fans were confused. But the writers and producers verified they had nothing to do with it and it's not part of the story.
That was a very sharp review! You have presented a very consistent thesis. The final moment, Jack closing his eyes, leaves the viewer with a bittersweet feeling. Bitter because death is bitter and sweet because death is also a door to a glorious world (or a hellish one). In this way, when Jack closes his eyes, the prologue of the story is done. Page 1 of chapter 1 of the real story is about to begin. If anyone wants to know what happens after, he ought to consult The Author for spoilers!

Great video. However, what about the last shot of the plane wreckage on the beach?
