  • Very impressed with the camera work and editing too.

  • My route was the 46A (Dublin-Dun Laoghaire), but they later added the 58, from Rochestown Avenue to Dun Laoghaire. For some reason the 58 was always a bocketty oul bus like in this clip, whereas the Fortier was a modern one with the accordion doors and everything.

  • the auld routemasters were great, back in the 70s we would lash the poor conductor out of it with snowballs when the bus would stop at the lights at summerhill across from the sunset pub,He would leg it inside,jasus it takes yeh back,thanks.

  • Routemasters never operated in Dublin. It was the Rs/RAs which were Leyland that operated in large numbers here.
