  • My grandma had a 1990 TC/2000 when she drove bus, bus 20. Gosh I miss that thing!!!

  • It has the 545 auto? Doesn't sound like it.

  • amazing you modded this to go 100mph!!!

  • what was the top speed?

  • nice bus you got there!!!! i want one =P

  • Anyone know what mileage you get on the highway with the 5.9?

  • @callmebigpapa I have seen as high as 11mpg on the highway, but 10 is average highway. 9 mpg seems to be overall average.

  • are you able to make another video about your bus or buses? thanks and nice vid

  • Has the same engine and gearbox as our Dennis Dart service buses in the UK (in all 1989-1997 examples) so this sound is familiar to me :-) Unforgettable really lol...

  • That's an awesome bus! I like the sound cummins too. What kind of rims does it have?

  • @Busdude97 Dayton 22.5s. aka cast spoke wheels.

  • Nice bus, I like it. I just want to know why you own a bus. This isn't your daily driver is it?

  • I just like the 5.9 cummins.

  • thats a way different tc2000 then the ones i remember cause the ones i remember had the shifter near the ignition and they had a door release on the contol pannel

  • 1998-99 TC-2000's all the way, reason for that......loving the tranny whine!

  • Yeah, for some reason this one doesn't do it?

  • Thats strange

  • I am a TC/2000 fan and I like the 89 to 92 models with shifter on left side. those busses seem to have good get up and had a personality. the new 93 to end they were nice but the older ones were nice. most i seen were 72 Pass but some had 77 pass.

  • I've always liked the steering wheels of the BlueBirds.

  • i love these buses!

  • Sweet bus and driving. I'd love to see some more of your bus and it driving.

  • Wow this is sweet. A Bluebird with a 5.9 Cummins is one of my top choices for the bus project I want to do. I have the 6BT in a Dodge truck and I love them. For the big bus I want it might be a little bit underpowered, but that would be fine with me in order to get the amazing fuel mileage. And of course you can easily boost the power output on a 5.9 to some pretty high levels, but in an RV bus I would go for the great efficiency and reliability you would get from going mellow.

  • I used to have those. They are an ok bus. Bird makes a good product

  • You're darn right the TC is an okay bus :P

  • I'm begining to have more respect for the TC-2000, a guy I know likes them. I trust his judgement.

I did have some of these with the shifter to the left and that was annoying.

  • Good bus, but rides rough. I'm used to the shifter now. I believe 93 and newer tc's are on the right. Its nice to have the shifter by the brake, so you don't have to switch hands. The 92-3, you'd have to shift-right, brake-left, door-right hand. The 94's with hydraulic brakes had a foot operated park brake.

  • My tcs rode rough too. I much prefer my Visions. But hey any Bird is great with me
