  • Haha! I remember watching your other video, when you said that. You keep saying 'you know' I actually say it alot too. I was actually prescribed lexapro and was not sure if I wanted to take it and then I did some research. I do appreciate u sharing your story! :) good luck to you.

  • I like that u say "you know" alot. its cool!

  • @luvbeingKK lol.. i know..ha i made a video called you "you know lexapro" because when i watched it back i noticed i said it a alot :P I guess thats what i say when i really just dont know haha.. :)

  • do you ever find that just the most mundane thing in life is the thing that u need but drugs get in the way x

  • @jas7800s ha, yes.. interesting comment :)

  • i do respect your privacy, but may i ask how much you were taking when you had to come off??im trying to get some perspective on this.thanks

  • @superbert35 in my case its lorazepam which has a longer life, similar to xanax in a way.. i was on 2mg for a year which is too long, after that i bumped down to 1mg and experienced no side effects, then after 3 months, down to 1mg, then after three more months, down to .50 mg,... that part was tricky since my body was telling me "i need 1mg) but mind over matter as they say.. i "duked it out" and kept the .50 no matter what.. still no side effects.. so im still on it.. at that low dosage.

  • @masterpsychosis i have no plans yet of coming off since this combination of mirtazapine and lorezapam is the only thing that works to put me to sleep.. and believe me i spent 1000's on doctors and trial and error medicines from ambien cr to lunesta to seroquel to otc melatonin and unisom.. even natural vitamans.. its nice to know im on a lower dose though.. everything seems less blurry on such a low dose if you know what i mean.

  • What kind of discomfort can i expect to have coming off .25 mg xanax tabs, which i break in half and take half of the .25 mg tab a day??ive been on them for 15 years.

  • @superbert35 Well Xanax is really flowing in your bloodstream from all these years.. i would suggest a sloow taper.. lower dose, cutting in half.. a year of doing this might help wean you off.. but you will get some side effects like cold seats, jitters, shaky.. let your doctor know you want to taper off slowly, dont stop it abrublty or the side effects will bbe extreme times 10! It gets better as you taper, and you will manage side effects better.. some nightmares might come and go,

  • @masterpsychosis just start with a safe plan, take it slow, even if it takes over half a year to wean off! Otherwise it will be complicated.. so knowing to taper off and starting a plan for it is something most dont know about...

  • @masterpsychosis you really think this is going to be the case??i only take one 8th of one milligram a day,its been a long time, but you think even on that low dose i'm going to have to go threw crazy withdrawls??i used to be taking 3 mg a day along time ago, overdosed on shrooms and was trucked up over it for 3 years, but it went away.im in a hurry to get off this crud because i got myself into trouble with crack and ive been ordered to go to a treatment facility, but i cant b on benzos at all

  • @courtgabgijop your welcome :) yes it was a tough time but talking about it so others know its ok makes me feel better.

  • hey :) been subbed to your channel for a while now, its good to hear you feeling better. keep smiling :)

  • ..My Ativan experience recently has not been good and I fear it. I have been without for 7 days now and have slept maybe 10 hours total since. The withdrawal was a real amusement park of moods, smells, tastes and memories and I am still getting back to...well cant say normal.

  • You sound pretty good. Sometimes you just have to make changes and you shouldn't let yourself feel guilty about what may be best to keep you healthy. I also had the same weight gain problems with Lexapro and find that Cymbalta works a little for me in that regard. Sounds like I have similar to sleep problems as you and have been through a few different options over the years, none of which had a good/proper effect. cont...

  • I can tell that your feeling better already! I know what you are going through.

    Take care.

  • @torgomax thank you for the comment.. i appreciate you keeping up with my ordeal .. i do feel better now more than ever.
