  • sweet as a nut !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this Racist?

  • Is this suppose to be funny? How the hell did someone die laughing at one of these episodes?

  • Public Service TV in the States showed GOODIES, apparently hoping that It would repeat PYTHON's success here. I guess it didn't, as we saw nothing they taped after 1975.

  • what was surreal? i grew up with this stuff...

  • The Goodies were, are, and will always be comedy genius. It's that simple.

  • oh my god!

  • As my surname is 'Gibbon' I am offended by this song :L

  • @PianoDude291 I take it you're not very funky then?

  • @rus524 god it's a chlidrens tv show so stfu about paedos and the goodies are higher than anything than a small minded pig like you could aspire to

  • ههههههههههههههههههه

  • if I get 10 thumbs up i will dress up as the goodies sing this for the talent show and record it

  • Haven't heard the full one of this before, see what my Parents were on about though

(they grew up in London & actually saw the Goodies recording their series on several occasions).

Novel to see Bill Oddie young & with that much hair

    (Laugh ; )

  • i wonder where Bill got the idea from to do spoken verse over a funky beat(ie rap)...

Possibly the funky music is inspired by James Brown, but who else was rapping to it at the time?.

  • He does have quite tight dungarees. Why does he have that glove that he puts on part way through though, does anyone know? Or did I miss something?

  • My sister loves the Goodies, they're classic man XD

  • They HAD, contractually, to split up after their final season back in '81 and I'm a Brit.

    These guys were GREAT!!!

  • I'm a non-70s kid and I like this, better than today's music.

  • Ha ha, fuck off to all the non-70's kids that don't like this. Just keep consuming all the shitful television and music that exists these days. Oh and don't try to think to deeply about anything that actually matters, you'll give yourselves a brain haemorrhage.

  • Teehee :D I love the goodies , wish it was on tv still ;l. I first watched it when i was 5-6 and this was the first. Now im 13 and iv'e bought loads of dvd's I LOVE IT

  • @mad4mater And that's a bad thing?! O_o

  • The Goodies helped me at the end of my childhood. I love them even though I wasn't a 70s kid :L

  • LOL im probs the youngest person on hear to have heard of the goodies. BUZZZZIIIIIIINN. they are actually legend.

  • Best thing thats been on all christmass :-)

  • Graeme has the tightest dungarees ever.

  • uh... one of there microphones arent on. try figure out which one it is XP

  • this is mega funny

  • shame these guys have NEVER been repeated on UK TV

  • @Hellberch1 good news, Hell has frozen over, The Goodies are on BBC2 all over Christmas starting on December 22nd. They are even showing Kitten Kong and Kung Fu Kapers! Tell your friends. Look at the late night listings in the Xmas Radio Times.

  • @MrMarkzilla Thank the Lord the BBC have finally seen the Light

  • OMG. They are so cool :) Graeme looks really unconfatble, but who cares? Its very cool. I wish there were more songs like that nowadays.. :) x

  • I love how awkward and uncomfortable Graham looks....

  • Well............I've seen Bill Oddie in a new light now.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

  • Great song. I remember I was 5 years old at the time, The Goodies were very funny.

  • They're having a laugh, lighten up all you comedy connoisseur know alls.

  • no way, the goodies werent cool, they were on the ABC!! (australian broadcasting corporation) Nothing on the abc was cool when i was a kid, except countdown.

  • I loved the Goodies but this was not their finest moment and with respect to lozman67, being told how important they are and how funny they are does not make it any better. They were brilliant when they were inventive and off the wall. Here they were just trying too hard. After school in Oz they were required viewing or else you were out of it the next day . . .

  • lol, people in our school have to sing this lol

  • Give them a break...they are brits.

  • Tim was invited to be a founder member of the Pythons, Graham is a legend in radio comedy, and Bill is a legend in British TV, full stop: it was of it's time, and still funny, if you have a brain cell capable of social comment.

  • @holydave The Pythons were better when writing short sketches. The Goodies were better at putting gags and physical comedy into a sustained storyline format. Watching an episode like "Scoutrageous" today you are amazed at the sustained level of invention. When the Pythons tried it they fell flat on their faces. "Mr Neutron"?

Check out Oddies arrangement of "All things bright and beautiful" and put it beside "All things dull and ugly" and see who comes out sounding better.
