You can tell Pacquiao is the best because he's currently the best, number 1 P4P in the world. Mayweather has to prove himself as the better man only by fighting Pacquiao. But until he does that - he's just a good boxer and nothing more. Pacquiao fought Mosley to prove he can do better...that's his message to Mayweather. Mayweather's job on Marquez is the same thing to Pacquiao. But the burden of proof is on Mayweather now and the 8-division champ is still standing and waiting for him.

@nujrz4lyfe my bad, "nothing" was a bit too strong a word .floyd at his best was probably on the level of oscar de la hoya and shane mosley at their best. and floyd mayweathers accuracy is stand-out when compared to any boxer of any day. his offense just isn't amazing like it was when he was in his 20's. pacquaio is overrated though. aised from hatton, cotto and clottey all of his opponent have been smaller than him and it's painfully obvious he's on steroids.

The Manny vs. Mayweather fight will NEVER happen, Why??? Because Arum and Roach won't let it? It is funny that pacfans don't want Manny to take the same test that Floyd and Mosley took. He took a blood test for the Clottey fight didn't he. @csibond ummm...when floyd fought Marquez he was the #1 contender, and not to mention floyd was out of boxing for eighteen months, and Mosley refused to fight MW in 99 and 03, he only called floyd out, because his career is in decline.....but Manny refused to fight Mosley three times, and you say he is a warrior? And a lil side note.....Marquez really beat Manny. That is why Manny refused to fight him a third time.
