I bought an EB2-DC in about 1973. Paid around $400 for it new, if I remember correctly. I was 16 and had worked all all summer saving for that bass. Sold it probably 7 or 8 years later to a brother of a friend. He still plays that bass. I never particularly liked the sound of it, but it is one beautiful guitar! And yes. Gibson should re-issue it,

I'm having a problem setting the action on my Rivoli, I can't set the flats shallow to the fretboard, (like I can with my Fender P), without the frets buzzing like crazy! I have to allen screw the bridge up so the strings are too far away from the fretboard.
