M3 is clearly modded more than the vr4.. and we didnt even get the good vr4s here in the states as vr4 galants were awd and twin turbo from 1993-2003 with correspong us body styles.. go read up and look at all the gvr4s in the 9s and 10s with nothing major done to them.. they are fast as hell

I have a '91 Evo 0, the difference is they have 510cc injectors, different inlet manifold, bigger intercooler and pipping than normal JDM spec, 4 bolt rear end with 3.909 ratio, extra vents on the hood and front bumper, and most importantly the 16G TD05H turbo.

vr4 couldn't have been to modded to be only pushing 16 psi. a stock car with a $60 fuel pump can push 16 psi.

They currently sell a MIVEC (2.0L) AWD turbo Galant in Japan, and it would rape the BMW in the video. It is mostly a label thing. It looks like (and is) a Ralliart Lancer.

I agree though that no Galant sold in the US after we lost the VR4 has any business racing anything faster than a tortoise.
