  • This isn't the same version thats on my made in japan.

  • I used to have THE ALBUM! yes, A-L-B-U-M. ALBUM!

  • @01ichibawm I hate too when people say CD instead of ALBUM

  • 1972, Christmas, My older sister by me this record for a gift ....I was 9 and whole world opens for me..

  • "Made in Japan": best live album in the history of rock n' roll.

  • Helllllllllllll-ooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With so many people complaining about the original Made in Japan not being played why doesn't Youtube do something about it. Ever heard the expression: I WANT MY MTV. Well in this instance WE WANT OUR MADE IN JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Gotta love "The Purp." The boys were at their "purple-est" when they were making long versions of their hits in concert. Although those of us who are familiar with this dynamite 2-LP set know that this closing track is well over 20 minutes, this shorter one does capture the overall spirit. It makes me think of Zep doing "Dazed and Confused" from "The Song Remains the Same." Well, who could resist two legendary UK rock bands?

  • @sandinyourshoes

There are another legendary bands which can resist.1.Queen 2.Black Sabbath 3.Pink Floyd 4.Yes 5.Genesis 6.King Crimson .This genre(rock) has been created and developed in UK .I do not know why but most influenced and creative bands all are british.

  • @sh6x, of those legendary bands you mentioned, I think most if not all of them have done at least one double-live album. The 70s were just the years for so many bands to do that, and the work is unmatched to this day.

  • This isn't taken from "Made In Japan". It may have been recorded during that tour, but this isn't the version on the album.

  • @SigalaSigala Correct the 3 cd version

I could tell straight away from the drum beat at the begining

Yep the concerts may have differed.through out that tour.

But you do know Deep Purple are basically a jamming band and always tried to out do each other

    they are brilliant

    but not perfect.

  • une tromperie..!!!!!!RIEN A VOIR AVEC L'ORIGINAL MADE IN JAPAN !!!!!!DU BIDON !!!!!!!!

  • The proper version on the "authentic" copy of Made in Japan is going to be played at my funeral. Its in my will. My family have reluctantly agreed to play it....IN ITS ENTIRETY. 28 minutes of pure 'Purple' heaven!

To Deep Purple management... please dont go them for copy right :-)

  • @Spacetruckinman What a way to go. I'll come and air drum at your funeral man and give you a good send off. My it be a long time from now though.

  • This isn't the version from the original '72 LP release. See the Ledzep69Man uploads, (though he mistakenly called it "Space Trucking"). That's original version from the '72 "Made in Japan" dbl album.

  • This was one of the first songs that really made me "work" to play it; This, and Rock and Roll by Led Zepplin, were a real "drainers" if ya know what I mean.... This is great drumming, and imagine that, it's only a trap set...! :-) Thanks for posting!

  • RAW,VERY RAW,this is amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No comments...Deep Purple is always the best band of rock the world! thanks for posting!!

  • first album i bought ......loved it ever since:)

  • @valpan83 one of the best....

  • Ive owned Made In Japan on 8 track,LP and have it on compact disk and this isnt the same version of Space Truckin that was on them, although this sounds great.

  • Ya, now that I listen to it you are quite right , this isn't the same version of the song..... bumma, bumma.

  • This isn't the version that was on my *-track version of "Made In Japan".

  • Or on my LP or CD versions. Maybe it's from that tour, but it's not from the album (not the American release anyway).

  • Deep Purple is of few groups that touch directly phenomenal, better Deep Purple group of rock of all the times
