  • You make it look so easy that I want to tear apart my engine. I kind of have to do that anyway at least head removal. Would you recommend measuring specs before, after, or both if I'm getting a valve job? All I can afford is to have 1 burnt valve replaced. :(

  • you make some of the best vids keep up the great work

  • i need to get better at this engine rebuild stuff, im trying to rebuild my 420a for my 97 eclipse. what do u recommend as in parts?, i am trying to go for a turbo build

  • @MrRandomkillz This might be the wrong place to answer this... but buy the turbo car instead. As a former GS owner, don't read anything into that.

You can get a whole 1g or 2g car for less than the cost of building a solid 420A rotating assembly + all the supporting mods. You'll never have any regrets with a GSX. When it comes to tuner cars, it doesn't matter what it is... it won't be reliable. You'll always need something that you can count on to get you to work. A GS does that very well!

  • I really can not think of a more comprehensive set of Free videos. Thank you for all of your time and effort as it is all appreciated. Great video once again, I look forward to seeing this thing in Richmond upon completion.

  • I NEED MORE videos!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what are you going to do with this engine and how soon

  • @watchforfinger I'm going to make another video with it, and if I'm lucky, maybe upload it later tonight. xD

  • awsome video as normal :)

  • I see lots of numbers and circles on that whiteboard - think i can feel a headache coming on.. lol

only kidding... :-) Great informative video as always.

  • I like the long videos!

Man, almost picked up a 71 mustang fast back for under 1000$ last weekend. I was too late. /cry...

  • @cb3tech The BEST things in life are FREE! I almost spent $4000 on a rusted out '69 Mach 1 back in 1998. Lost a $500 deposit and walked away once I got a better look at the rust. Might have been the best thing I ever did because my next cars were DSMs.

$1000 bux is a steal, though. Kinda hard to wrong. Try to find the bright side...! You're not doing a $40,000 frame-off restoration.

  • man Jafro some idiot hit my gs yesterday .. totaled it im just so so happy it was not my gst spyder

  • @djdarkmunk Watch the GSX build video from way back in the pile. I used to have a GS and GSX at the same time. Look what happened to it in that video. I wasn't even driving it. I was in my bed asleep. Alarm clock went off the same exact time as the accident so I ddin't even know until a neighbor banged on my door and said "someone just hit your eclipse", they were parked in different places.

I said, "which one?" they pointed, and I started dancing and pumping. I know the feeling!

  • @Jafromobile yea but now i have to drive my gst spyder in the winter with summer sport tires

  • @djdarkmunk If everyone has insurance, it will most likely work for the best. It's tough in the short term, but give it time and see how it plays out... in the meantime, there's DSMtrader... Maybe something AWD would be a better winter car? Just sayin'... :)

  • @Jafromobile yea man prob is i make about 10k a year so my budget is super tight

  • As always great video! You have probably the best auto content on here!
