God hates sin & wants to act to save the children. In Noah's day he destroyed the whole world because he hated the violence & sin. But he does not hate the sinner & he says that no more will he visit the sins of the fathers on the children. Sometimes he searches for someone to stand in the gap. (This is in one of the major prophets, Isaiah/Jeremiah/Ezekial) If Christians do not stand in the gap, then he turns & destroys the land because the blood cries out to him. Are you praying?

@iwanttobeajesusfreak You know what's really awesome that a lot of people miss, including myself till just recently, is that the Bible says Christ gave Himself up, not that they killed Him. It says He "gave up His Spirit." We didn't kill Him, He literally gave His life for us. It's our option to take it. :)

@JACOESHMT Jesus did die for the whole world, not just for those people who believed in Him. Jesus' main mission was spreading the gospel not to people who believed in Him but to those who didnt know or have faith in Him. He died for the sinners, the lost, those in "darkness". He died for our sins, which is equated to death, so we can have eternal life in Him. Eternal life is freely given to those who believe in Jesus but it is open for EVERYONE, not exclusive to one peoples.
