news flash, i tried it 2... and i succeeded 5 times in 15 tries... but all 5 times the gun was empty and wouldnt shoot

so im guessing ur not allowed to disarm in that level, ur supposed to gtfo...

Biggest problem is: The SWAT guys you can't disarm also have Weapons that you can't use. It's a glitch.

Because you're not supposed to fight them, the developers didn't program the weapons to be used.

(Or it could be a thumbprint safety, so you can't "shoot 'em up". xD)

But I managed to neutralize the four man SWAT-team at the beginning before the Helicopter jump once (normal difficulty). Just by Wallrun-kick - disarm from behind - drop gun and run.

Good thing those guys can't shoot for shit.

There is a specific scene where you absolutely had to disarm opponent which took me (and bunch of other ppl) a while to get, cause no one used disarming. You were supposed to disarm the guy so that he could fall over the building. YOU HAD TO DISARM HIM. And I saw that bunch of other ppl on the internet had the problem with that same thing. It wasn't even hinted. Just when you look really carefully at the weapon in his hand you can see it becoming red for a very short time.

The best way to disarm a lone swat member without using reaction time is to slide kick them (makes him bend down) go behind him then disarm :)

you can do it without going slow mo, just run up to the guy and as soon as you start to see him move press it, or you can just wait a quick moment right after you run up to him and then press the disarm button, it works most of the time for me, You just have to know how long each character takes to start to swing at you and when the gun turns red. Most of the time with swat you never see the gun turn red you just disarm :P
