@coredump9 can you do me a favor and fix my V2 its just that tried fixing his wires and he still wont work if you can do that for me that would make me happy.How much do you charge to fix it cuz i nned him for a party performence on May for my lil cousin bday party.plz reply
@Zorua635 : Hi, fixing it is a labor of love (took me ~3 days) which I'm not inclined to do again.. sorry. Have u tried posting on the Robosapien forums for help? There's one or two forums out there that are still active.
I have one I'm I just got that has been spray panted, over every thing! It has wiring issues in the back also. So far I got most of the paint off the sensors and the face shield and am going a steampunk paint on it. Trying liquid tape on the wires tonight after work. Thanks for the video
its a job thats frustrateing and time consumeing but not really all that hard ... i have my red V2 that landed on the same problem and i have gotten one leg done so far, best advice 1. DONT strip the screws and 2. soon as its open make a list of needed wire colors and guages after that its a trip to radioshack (or the parts bin in my case) and many hours of stress and occational burnt finger tips from hot solder
How long did it take? I think i may have to do this with mine. Only just got it from ebay and it has stopped working. Im quite worried because im not an electrical person at all. Any advice?
