Gosh, does this bring back memories. The cafe in the Student Union - what a flashback! This song was most selected to be played there over and over, long after it was a hit. Due to the war then and the draft, it wasn't the best of times, but everyone made the most of the time that was at that moment.

It was my brother who got this record, and I borrowed a player just after my 10th exam, this way back in 1970, boy can I ever forget the exalted feeling after my first major exam of life and the relief with this wonderful song. And it was Summer in Bangalore, India.

It was on the chart in '67 and the "B" side of a song she did cslled "Sugartown"...I played this song on AFRTS in Japan. I saw the two of them at a club called The Chameleon in Lancaster, PA many years ago. A quaint club but I was very pleased they would consider playing such a venue.  Great night and great song!
