I think its a good fight for both of them I think Chavez gets the decision in this one, he'll be much bigger, and I dont think Rubio will be able to capitalize if Chavez tires out if he takes his punches early because I think punches from a bigger fighter who hits hard will be difficult to overcome if his face marks up

@EuropeanBoxingNews There is a big deal being made about JLC not taking the post fight drug test. I agree that all fighters must take a post fight test. However, Marco did not take a post fight test either. So I can't blame JLC of cheating. I blame the WBC of being inept.

@hawkermustang well yeah they didnt book a lab and i hear that in texas its not compulsary to do post fight blood tests .. so he hasnt broke any rules and mind u rubio didnt do a post fight blood test either so he could have had anything in his system too lol

Peterson did 15+ lbs in one day but i expect he had an IV attachment the next day so maybe Chavez did that too

I know most people don't agree, but I'm taking Rubio by or stoppage or UD. I strongly believe Rubio has the better skill set. I also have to disagree that about Rubio not being able to fight or wanting to fight backing up, he can do it if need be. He's also very experienced, but only 31 years old. I don't see Jr. winning a chess match with this guy, despite his bigger size. I think Rubio is too smart and his power too much to let Jr. get away with all his defensive mistakes and deficiencies.

Chavez jr is an excellent boxer in his own right IMO.I see Rubio hurting Chavez maybe even dropping him but ultimately the longer this fight goes the more likely Chavez is likely to catch him with a clean counter.Rubio has mixed it with good guys & this is a big test for Chavez who for me will allow Rubio to throw missing bombs then eventually take out a gassed Rubio in the 10th.We all know the obvious fight for Chavez (should he win) but i doubt it will happen

plus rubio doesnt like pressure himself he lost every round against David Lamioux
