Actually, Yukari isn't really that evil as far as youkais are concerned. She created the pocket world that the game is in, of all things, sheltering and separating youkai from humanity, preventing extinction-level wars. She sleeps most of the time. It is hinted that she does eat humans sometimes, but that is the typical youkai diet, as they mostly started out long ago (millions of years ago for Yukari perhaps) as wild beasts who had grown old and wise and gained sentience.
