chill people, although the cars are compete in the same league in terms of performance, but porsche or any other supercars that may be slower, are much more luxurious. you cant argue with that right? My mate bought an M6 instead of GTR because of luxuriness and the 'quality' as in how everything feels in the car. In terms of built quality, apparently the GTR has problems with gearbox and under hot weather. btw, what do you drive infinityGpower?

Have you driven a GT-R? I can't compare "driving feel" of the two cars, but as far as the numbers and what kind of tests/races/comparisons/etc. I've seen, it seems to me that the GT-R has the ability to beat a Porsche 911 Turbo. Also depends on who's driving the damn thing =/

Is it TRUE? Sport Compact Car (scc) magazine has just reported that the GTR has an electronically limited speed of 111 mph. In it's navigation system, Nissan has uploaded some approved racetracks where the speed limiter is taken off automatically and top speed then becomes 193mph, when the NAV detects that the car is at a Nissan approved race track location. Speed limiter is somehow connected to the NAV system. I just want 2 know, if anyone of you have heard about such a thing. Sounds ridiculous

Nissan is lying about the GT-R's power of 480. The GT-R is really pushing 507-560 horsepower, Motortrend ran a Dyno test to prove it. Check out the Motortrends website.

If you look at the stock numbers it will favor the porsche. The new 911 turbo will make 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. it has a rear engine. but they are close performancewise.

Isnt the GTR missing its interior, and if thats the mines car unless mines has two GTRs it has exhaust, racing suspension and bigger brake disks, and they compare it agaisnt a 911 Turbo with shot tyres, and a tiptronic which is heavier and slower around a track than the 911 turbo manual as it also lacks the LSD too.
