I had just about given up on Bowie until I heard this song in '94. Ronno's openning chords and Bowie's quick 'ahhh' told me I was in for song nirvana. Bowie hadn't 'sold out vocally' in a song in years until this one. To hear him sing '...your last meeeeeaaaalll' is priceless. Ronno always brought the best out of whoever he played with----I miss the guy

I believe this was recorded with Bryan Adams band, who he was supposed to record an album with and then the idea was scrapped...a couple years before the SOund and Vision tour I think.

Seems it was recorded in '88, then the masters were sent off to Mick Ronson who reworked the guitar tracks. It was released on Mick's posthumous album Heaven and Hull.
