Fender Acoustic 12 string Guitar Finger Picking

OH ! finger pick'n a twelve string hard to do I don't even bother trying lol nice rythme instrument or for slow songs and of course songs like Wish you were here by Pink Floyd but I miss 6 string I broke mine trying to repair it .

I've several anthologies of 12 string instrumentals which display good examples of fingerpicking. Your style is interesting, I tend to use thumb and the next two adjacent fingers as they're stronger when picking a 12. Mine is a Fender with a fantastically low action, but even so, you're right: you certainly need to build up strength, not to mention toughened left hand fingertips. But what a sound. I've loved it since the early 60's when I bought Billy Strange and Glen Campbell instrumental LPs.

Its a DG-16..the thing is awesome, I pick really hard too, that makes for a whole sounding (and louder) note when finger picking, ya know...

actualy thats a fender cd-160 and its a beautiful guitar i just got mine in black also its my 8th guitar oh do u have any case recmendations on that guitar

I think it is a fender dg-16e-12. I have the same guitar, they no longer make it.

Woow! Yeah Fenders are great! I like Gibsons also, but I like Fender because I have small fingers and the sound is much sharper. Fenders are great for solo's, for chords maybe a Gibson sounds a bit more full.
