Thank you, John11inch. I can say why I think it works. He doesn't overemphasize the differences, like Richter. Each section develops organically out of the others; the mystical out of the definitive, the playful out of the lyrical, etc. Like strolling through streets as each sight and feeling hits you naturally, rather than looking at paintings unconnected to each other.
I have also just decided I prefer this interpretation over Richter's. Much more finely woven. Awesome.
