    dude.... just workout as much as your body can take it.the main thing is to just start and get in the routine!

    I have been gyming for a month now...it's amazing how once you start working up a sweat your body burns calories off.I know dieting is important but im damn impressed with my results so far.

    once you start your muscles and body will adjust and you will realise your threshold.

  • @chewymoogle If you have just started working out, dont start off with dumb-bells. Start off with the (high knees-push ups-sit ups- mountain climbers. Just the basic, if you start of with a more advance one it'll probably giv you a sore back or muscle very easily.

  • Hey, I respect what you're doing but I've just tried this work out and what I found was that those "burpies" could be a fast track way to injuries such as hammer toe and metatarsal stress fractures.

    You should probably warn you viewers of the potential hazards of you work outs.

Then I heard from a friend that I'm supposed to give my muscles a day of rest, so I started lifting weights every other day while running everyday. After 2 weeks, I started seeing a difference.  You have the right attitude, but you have to work out more intelligently. Stagger your workouts, targeting different muscles groups each day.

  • @dh30xpro Since you're only 15, don't get too serious about lifting yet. My suggestion would be to start working on muscle size once your skeletal frame has grown out (compare your frame to you biological dad's, if they're about the same or larger, then you're set). If you start lifting hardcore too early you risk stunting your growth and inhibiting bone development. Just get a healthy routine started and stick with it. Once you've stopped growing taller, you can start lifting hardcore.

  • @jayr809 I totally agree. Exercising hasn't been a family activity for me, so it was hard to have a regular exercise routine. Having something in front of me to distract me at the gym like television shows has helped passed the time better and made exercising more enjoyable. Go workout with friends as often as possible to turn exercising in a positive experience.
