Tracy McGrady got rigged against Dallas, if the Rockets won that series, they have a high chance of winning the Champoinship especially with a prime Yao in his side
two players in my opinion that lacked a supporting team was T Mac and Vince Carter. These two players could have been so good if and only if they had a supporting cast throughout their careers.
Sad that they are just Tool players now. They could have done a lot of good.
I wanted him to go to the Lakers so badly before the Hawks picked him up. Starting 5: Fisher Bryant Barnes Gasol Bynum Second Team: Blake/Morris McGrady Artest (World Peace) McRoberts Gasol That team could do some damage.
he's my fave player ever since his sick scoring days and dunkin on 7 footers (against shawn bradley best dunk ever!), dang it really is sad he's not at his prime anymore but if he gets that ring, well it will validate his greatness starter or not. :)
people tend to forget quickly. This guy was a scoring machine, and one of the most underrated passers to play the game. This guy has done amazing things on the basketball court. people are so quick to bring up his playoff failures. Look at his numbers. better yet, look at his team. id say he, in his career, was favored to win one playoff series. When he was in Orlando, who was the 2nd best player on the team? exactly. if it wasnt for injuries, he would have been one of the best. no doubt.
This guy desreved a ring more than anyone to play in the NBA, i know a ring doesn't have to show if your good or not cause this guy in my view will be one of the all time greats but he did deserve it none the less.
This guy, this Tracy McGrady is the exact reason why I began playing the game. Without a doubt and for certain, would have been one of the greatest players ever to play the game, more so than Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron. I hate to see him get hurt and injured because everyone who respects this player knows exactly what he is capable of.
my favorite player. such a raw scorer. although not necessarily the smartest player, he showcased athleticism, talent, power, and grace...the list goes on. overall he was a complete scorer, best i've ever seen. some forget he is a former scoring champion.
@cudownelata90s I think they were mainly trying to show plays that not many people have seen. Those plays you listed are the same ones you'll find on almost EVERY TMac mix on Youtube, where as these aren't as common. In fact, I don't think I've seen the majority of the older ones and I watch TMac videos daily lol
@JamesGS23 thats like saying penny or hill in their primes overtaking jordan. As much as I love tmac but he was one of those guys that played off 80 percent talent and 20 percent practice. Never played truly in the big stage. I would've rather seen tmac go to the finals than lebron though.
@8MunchenBayern8 im not gonna waste my time on someone who is clearly fuckin ignorant here ...we werent talking about the playoffs..tmac never had a team like kobes but when he was healthy he was at the top of the league..go fuck yourself

@8MunchenBayern8 stfu im not gonna waste my time on 10 year olds ...we werent talking about the playoffs..tmac never had a team like kobes but when he was healthy he was at the top of the league..go fuck yourself
@Nathaniel21 After watching T-Mac for several years, i can say he started to depend on his Defense a lot less. He was more worried about Offense when it came to time on the floor. But if you saw him in his early years, you wouldnt be able to say he has no ability to do any solid defense. He/s got great ball IQ, just sad to see that he can't use that IQ along with a healthy body
@JamesGS23 scoring wise shooting the ball dribbling one on one situations yes defense rebounds and non offensive stats i cant agree i miss seeing him in his prime though
I blame his coaches for making him play so long every game. Being such an athletic player and attacking the rim so much, all that contact game wore him down over the years and is responsible for so much of his injuries. Notice how he had to develop a jumper in his later years. That Adelman also ruined Yao in Houston. Those 2 would've been something great had it not been for that damned coach.
Tracy Mcgrady I believe is 'underated' in the game of basketball. Hes pure athleticism allows him to create impossible shots. Good on him for continuing what he does best...DOMINATING EVERYONE ON THE COURT!
@jizzhunt are you serious?!T-Mac better than Kobe,is that what your are saying?Lol.T-Mac achieved simply nothing throughout his NBA life!He is a showtime player. If he is in shape. And in good mood.He was lazy all his life, never trained as a pro, never lifted a team to a higher level.he never went far in the playoffs. He is a unfullfield promise. His talent was so rich,he could have been there with kobe. But he is not.So isnt his cousin vince. Both gifted, both threw there talent away.sad to see..
@doule76 If he'd remained healthy throughout his career then I believe he would've been better or at least on Kobe's level. People seem to forget how much of a beast he was back then before injuries took their toll. Remember that these 2 were once considered the 2 best shooting guards in the league. And if he had been surrounded with some better players then he might've been able to go pass the 1st round.
@jizzhunt jeb,i agree, that maybe we would have seen another t-mac when he would have joined the right team in the right time in his career.Injuries denied a different career? Also true.BUT:I truely believe, that someone who cares about his body, learns to see weaknesses in his body and learns to protect himself from bad injuries by working out specific and change your way of playing.Jumpers knee?Jump less, play smarter, shoot more.No garantee to stay healthy,of course. But T-Mac didnt work at all!
@Dabzy0086 Q.e.d.-so it is.Players like MJ, Rodman, Stockton,Malone,Kevin Willis etc worked their asses off-or still do,like Kidd or Dirk. They try to become better every single day, care about their body and health. Many years ago,in my teens,i happened to be with some local friends at Dirks home in Würzburg. We were watching a NBA game, after playing 2-3 hours in the summer sun.Just sitting on a couch,"relaxing".Dirk came in with 3 bottles of water, got on a stepper-for 1 more hour.Thats work ethic!
