So basically you're saying that anybody who wasn't born in a tower block is middle class. I know John despised the priveliged, elitist ethic of public schooling.
This song caused a fair amount of controversy for John Lennon, as his detractors pointed out that he was raised in an upper-middle class home by his aunt and had no right to call himself a working class hero. In an interview with Rolling Stone just 3 days before his death, Lennon explained: " "
All these arguments and ramblings on here need to stop, it's been over 30 years. Nothing can be changed, you either love what is left or not. John's name will live forever.
I just read today that some dentist paid $32,000 for a molar that John Lennon had pulled in 1969. John was going to throw it away but gave it to one his maids when she asked for it. They showed a picture of it. It had a big large cavity. The dentist said he was going to keep it in a glass display case and put it in his office waiting room.
@freethetech yes you're are right idiots believe in anything , like pseudo intellects like you who believe he was a man of peace and He'll live for ever, and you have the audacity to call me an idiot , i shouldn't really use big words with you as you are clearly quite braindead,, you follow your god and I'll follow mine!

@Richthor1889 And it's funny that you say we lack the intellect to understand the book. Joseph Niezgoda is, other then the link between the book and himself, not popularized in any way. When was he born? I am more then willing to bet you cannot find that information. He is a no-life loser who wrote a book about one of the greatest legends of all time, then described him in a derogatory manor just to gain fame, much in the way Mark David Chapman did. Idiots believe everything.
@Richthor1889 Any proof about devil worshipping, or is it just one of your delusions. You need help. John Lennon will live on forever, unlike you. No one knows or cares who you are. Better hurry back to your village, it's missing it's idiot.
@sm374820rocks There is a similarity - but I think it goes the other way. Jeff Lynne was influenced a lot by the Beatles and eventually was involved heavily in the Beatles Anthology. He even produced "Free as a Bird," the Lennon demo track that the surviving Beatles recorded with. Lennon called the song Starting Over the Elvis/Orbison song for obvious reasons. But the backing harmonies absolutely remind me of ELO. Could very well be it was ELO influenced.
@bruhe i agree. yes, but ELO considered themselves the 'followers', so to speak, of The Beatles. they always said they they were just taking where the walrus left off. im just saying its more likely that the song influenced ELO(aka 'Son Of Beatles'), not the other way around. though it is possible. :)

@flakbac Speaking medically but in terms that even you are cerebrally capable of managing, what you have are separate and serious cases; orally of diarrhea and aurally of otitis externa.
Regarding your severe case of bitterness, I should get that chip on your shoulder surgically removed too; I think it's probably malignant looking at what you communicate to the rest of us.
We're an independent label trying to make it in this game and the best way to do that is by being more known on youtube. One of the ways we stand out is we help unsigned artists get more fans by uploading their songs for a new fan base

@Kevin2011kefs im sorry love. it hurts me too. but humanity can be cruel, and when it is we need to get over it and live like angels. i still feel his death, but hey! it's okay. he told me that one night after me friend was rlly rlly depressed bout his death, " hey! it's okay" now that i think bout it, it is okay. now there's me and he's just started over as me. peace and love me friend. <3
@marcusedell For me, it's more a case of feeling pity for their lack of capacity to enjoy the most rewarding things life has to offer. Their reaction is incomprehensible to me.

You can change our future with one simple click.
Please thumbs up so other people can see this and check out our channel and comment with feedback if you like, also if you think we could improve.
If you like check the other artists we have over 80 vids up!
Cheers!

John hit #1, posthumously, on Billboard on 12/27/80 and stayed at the top for five weeks. Thanks for posting it! :)

marcusedell 2 months ago 22
@marcusedell For me, it's more a case of feeling pity for their lack of capacity to enjoy the most rewarding things life has to offer. Their reaction is incomprehensible to me.

@TheLeeb1972 The Beatles wouldn't have been the Beatles without Paul and Ringo as well.
jgentleman07 2 months ago
@jgentleman07 You're so right and there is no best in the Beatles. They all have their own unique function. Comments like that are odd. Plus they said "by far" So silly.

@TheLeeb1972,I know because Paul and Ringo sucks. For that reason,I say the George Carlin quote of "The wrong 2 Beatles died first."
