@vesiwiw6 Not possible to have another SSID on the repeater. You would have to have another SSID on the router and then another repeater to repeat that other SSID. Thanks for watching and commenting!
i need help pls. i have configured my router exactly the way you showed in the video but my laptop does not see any wireless connection... :/ i have rebooted the router and the laptop hoping it will recognize it, but it doesnt. my router is RT-N10. pls any advice will be much appreciated.
@iHurrican What version OS do you have? Are you just setting up one router? Can you plug the laptop directly into the yellow port to see of the internet works?
@johnnythegeek1 i have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. i am setting just one router and if i plug in the laptop directly into the yellow lan port i can use the internet but i need to use it wirelessly. and i dont think it has anything to do with my laptop's wireless card because i was at a friend's house last week and he has wireless network and as soon as the laptop started it found his wireless network.
@johnnythegeek1 ok no more problems, my cousin's boyfriend managed to make it work. it only had to diagnose the wireless card or something like that and as soon as that was done the laptop immediately recognized my wireless network. thank you anyway for taking the time to respond and try to help me. :D
@C4OShea Not a problem. On my left arm is a printed circuit board. On my right arm is the Dirac Equation. I chose the printed circuit board it revolutionized the computer manufacturing industry. It made it easy for regular people to build their own computer at home. the Dirac Equation was because I like the idea that the man who created it, Paul Dirac, took 30 years to understand it. It also led the way to discovering antimatter. Thanks for asking!

Is it possible to have a different SSID for the repeater - you indicated that both your router and your repeater were named Main Router.

@iHurrican Ok in the wireless settings, the same place where you name the SSID. Is the SSID Broadcast Enabled?
