I saw Christopher Awdry once when I was 5 he came to a local book shop in my town that sold ertl thomas and railway series books and signed my one of his first book Really useful engines

I feel so privileged to actually have had a personal meeting with Christopher! My school knew I was a huge Thomas fan so they arranged me to met him one on one for 10-15 mins and he signed all my books an I got to speak with him about Thomas and how it was created and his father. It was an amazing experience!

I also talked about Thomas stuff to Christopher. He talked about how on the filming of ' Thomas and the missing Christmas tree' the engines didn't run well and they were sorta broke :P

Wait a sec there!? You're visit looks better than mine!! Bcos when I were there the only engines on the layout were Percy and smokey joe !! You're lucky to see Thomas, henry, James and toby. Plus on the toy sale bit I didn't see any tomy engines, all I saw were like 3 wooden engines and 5 take alongd and some board games!! It looked fab for you
