Oh lord - I sure do ! I had a dress exactly like the sweater dress at :38. And my big thing was to wear wool shorts and knee socks in the dead of winter ! And colored opaque hose to match every mini skirt !!

My Dad hated it! ( He was a minister) Even though he did not believe women should wear slacks,he was happy when we were able to wear them to school,,,lol..
You know - when we were in school you couldn't wear slacks until our senior year !! And then you got sent home if you wore jeans !! Kids today can't believe that !! I kind of find it hard to believe ! haha
Oh, the first photo! Jean Shrimpton - one of the REAL first supermodels! Lots of pics of her! And Twiggy! And Goldie! And there was another model I ALMOST recognized, but it was one of the pictures that jumped around, so I couldn't focus on it. Those clothes! Empire waist dresses, the caps...the memories... :-)

To be honest with you - this video was fun to watch, like all the others of yours. Hey, is that you at 1.33 as David says? If so - wow...sweet. I really think that some of the fashion from back then - are pretty cute and should be in today as well :)

Pepi -- you can't believe everything David says ! No - thats not me - he puts me in the hippie category because I was more liberal than he was ! lol I wasn't a hippie - but I sure did wear some of these fashions ! Hope you have a great week --

This is a great video, perfect special effects and a song that ROCKS!! I enjoyed the pictures of the 60s fashions and seeing Twiggy again. :D :) It was a great time to grow up. I will never leave the 60s and 70s....lol

after watching this again, i was thinking how your wonderful video really defines the time of the mid 60's to early 70's!! i like how you included a picture of yourself at the 1:33 mark!! what a fun time to grow up!! well, at least you did!! lol

Toni Sue, you little peace-monger you -- did you really sign stuff LUV?? I have NEVER heard that one!! But, I am proud of the 'more aware' young lady you were. I wasn't questioning things as long as there was gas in my Riv and my life of ease was uninterrupted. I may kid you about being a hippie, but I say it as a compliment to her you were, and are.

I just wanted to add that while I love sixties fashion, film and music, I wasn't around then (sigh). I'm almost jealous that you got to experience those times - how interesting it would have been!
