why does everybody think that because its an 86 it has to be a trueno and if its an 85 its a levin. both cars were sold in both the chassis.The 85 shares its chassis and basic design with the 86, but while the 86 was designed for performance, the 85 was designed for economy and differs mainly in its engine. the announcer says hachi roku during the driver intro but the words say 85.

@omarbon23 There is NO BEST DRIFT CAR, it's all about what the driver chooses and as a matter of fact corollas are fairly harder to drift than some other cars.

are you guys not aware that the "ae85" still has a serial number that starts ae86. the only difference between the "ae85" (sr-5 in the usa) and the normal corolla gt-s is the sr-5 came with a different open diff rear end, and under the hood was a single cam carberated thing, instead of the duel cam fuel injected 4AG-E motor. and someone said something about this car being to suped up. this is katshiro ueo's 86 and it only rockin 187 hp. and he whoped ass on cars with over 500 hp.

He's very good, but in my oppinion he's putting too much thought into it, and his car his too suped up.

don't get me wrong, i love speed as much as the next american, but it's HOW you drive, not WHAT you drive.

The AE86 is my dream car, but i would never dare think of removing the interior. i need to be comfortable in my car.
