I found out the whole story of this situation. Sky is Wesley Collins son. Wes died before Sky was born. Jen is sky's mom. She finds out after that she was having a baby after Wes died. So in that picture that sky has of him and his dad is Alex. Alex took over after Wes Died.

Yeah, in the show, there is no real resentment. I just heard this song and thought it'd be an interesting take on the relationship: the idea of living up to a high standard and not being able to form one's own identity. I had fun putting it all together.

I found out the whole story of this situation. Sky is Wesley Collins son. Wes died before Sky was born. Jen is sky's mom. She finds out after that she was having a baby after Wes died. So in that picture that sky has of him and his dad is Alex. Alex took over after Wes Died.

I love this video! But I must agree with all the other people out there. I didn't know Sky was Wesley son, I always thought he was Alex's son.
For those of you who don't know Alex was the guy that looked exactly like Wesley in the future, but he died...I always thought he was Sky's father because they have the same last name.(I think)

It has been stated that Sky is the son of a "legendary" Red Ranger. In the episode "Walls", we see a picture of a young Sky sitting next to a man in a Red Time Force Ranger uniform with an S.P.D. badge. It is unknown if the man in the photo was supposed to represent Wesley Collins or that the early SPD ranger uniforms were based on the time force ranger uniforms. It could also suggest that 'Silver Guardians' evolved into 'Space Patrol Delta' which evolved into 'Time Force'.

You certainly covered all the bases of possiblities. When I first saw SPD I had the same theories between Wes and Sky that Sky is a decendent of Wes.

Yeah! A sky/wes vid. For all the speculation that went on around that, there are a suprisingly few amount of vids depicting it. You did a good job with this. To be honest though, I never felt there was any resentment from sky for his dad, but it was still an interesting take on things! Great job! I really enjoyed this!

Yeah, in the show, there is no real resentment. I just heard this song and thought it'd be an interesting take on the relationship: the idea of living up to a high standard and not being able to form one's own identity. I had fun putting it all together.
