I've been in the dance scene since the mid seventies and have seen the evolution of bellydance in the US. I really enjoyed this video. It's very authentic and natural. It's real.

Also, just LOVE that "dripping with beads" costume....look how it moves with you!

Hi Norma....:) I worked in Greektown for years, pre casino...... I remember Polivyio and Jimmy, from New Parthenon, really bragging about you! You used to dance at the famous hot spot, club Mikanos?? Gianni Pappas, pegasus, went on about you too....!! All the Greek business owners used to tell me about Greek town 1970-1987..... Alot of history there...I wonder why one of Detroit's greatest spots turned into a flop... ?? Anyway... You are a beautiful dancer..... Lessons please??

My style is a mix of "American Caberet" or Vintage Orientale, Lebanese and Egyptian Raks Sharqi with a hint of Turkish!

I love watching the Turkish drop! Great Dance! I agree Rachel Brice is scary! She's good, but scary to watch! Is this considered Cabaret?

Love it softer & more female, than the controlled modren style.( Personal opinion I still respect the technique involved to do what Rachel Brice does.) But I rather watch this if I went to a show.
