Just finished Butcher Bay on hard. Damn I died soo many times. There were times when I had like only one bar of life left, low ammo and guards plus critters to kill. Thank goodness for YouTube and walkthroughs or I would never had finished. Now for Dark Athena. *rubbing palms together.* this is gonna be awesome.

These games (EfBB and AoDA) would be so much better with slightly better level design... especially EfBB, it's supposed to be a stealth game yet the ai is so fucking stupid, and the level design doesn't suport stealth in many circumstances.

@AvacadoDesperado In Butcher Bay, there's a console code option to switch in and out of third person camera view. I am also sure because of this, that there is an option for Athena- I just beat Bay today, so haven't gotten on Athena yet.

Wonderful game, wonderful voice acting- This is the only way that I actually like Vin Diesel, and it surprised me as I don't enjoy him anywhere else but within these games.

@kriniko096 escape from butcher bay is the first game that game out in 2004 for regular xbox assault on dark Athena takes place right after butcher bay and thats it. Its 2 games for the price of one and if you like a good storyline this is def worth a buy got my copy on ebay brand new for 11 bucks not hard to find. and if you love chronicles of riddick like me you'll love this game vin diesels is such a badass

Play the 1st game so you understand more of the background to Dark Athena.

Sorry, my mistake...

The reason Riddick crash lands and you start the game on the coast by the water is part of Assault on Dark Athena.. its towards the middle of the game and you eject from the ship and the Cpt. Revas launches a missle at your escape pod and Riddick crashes into the planet surface..

Just play the game, you'll see what I mean :)
