  • hey boys, 'tis the beef cut they call "arrachera" in mexico?

    thanks a bunch

  • that of kind that mexico lol

  • Did you make your own chili sauce?

  • you eat to much meat.

  • @wgary321 Welcome to the U.S. of A.

  • avocado is really rare in spain. so i dont believe they have this type of "carne asada torta"

  • @samuelvic Carne Asada is not exclusive to Spain. Ever heard of us Mexicans? Spain and Mexico are two different countries on two different continents....in case you did not know that. Thusly, the food will be different.

  • @Askewviewin That's right homeboy, we ain't SPICS. I have no connection to Europe

  • EPIC moan sound 11:24 !

  • that is a HUGE KNIFE!

  • Further to my reply below, I ask these questions because I really want to get to know how to BBQ properly an not screw it up, so please folks be nice, and any advice would be really appreciated.

  • @crushed51 I'm no BBQ expert but, in a lot of the vids they do explain. The Cover and the vents on it controls how much air gets to the burning coals, thus controls how hot the grill get. If you want to be precise the temperature inside the grill can be measured by sticking a chef thermometer in the vent, but you will probably find it easier just to guestimate by how much coal used and how much you open the vent.

  • As a recent arrival from the UK where any kind of BBQ is a sure fire certainty to bring on a downpour of monsoon proportions, I have absolutely ZERO experience of ANY kind of BBQing, so please forgive what to you may seem a couple of real stupid questions, but if I don't know I ask. #1What difference does putting the cover over the meat cooking on the BBQ have. And #2 how do you ascertain the temperature when you have the cover on ?. These foods look deeeelicious,

  • 3 persons should be arrested by the food police...i love these guys!!!

  • THEY NEED TO OPEN A RESTAURANT

  • Awesome! Flank steak so well made. I love it.

  • Awesome! Flank stake so well made. I love it.

  • Sell out! Sell out! While theyre buying!

  • how much money did you guys get for putting McCormick in the video?

  • yyyyyyyyyyyyyyhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa

  • ths vid make me hungry ... oh damn

  • That's good eating.

  • Wow!! You guys ain't playin'!!

  • Wow!!

  • OMG. I love thisss.

  • OOOooooo Wee!!!

  • may i ask what brand carving knife you are using?

  • @ibnmosef no

  • @ibnmosef machete brand lol

  • That is too wrong, I cant even watch this, cant be good for my diet.

  • @millwaypro then why watch it?

  • la salsa va por dentro, pero podriamos decir que tiene algo de "torta ahogada", una torta sumergida en salsa , tipica de guadalajara, de todas formas se ve muy buena =P

    thumps up

  • omg im hungry now *¬*

  • Everything was fine until you put hot sauce on top of the bun. That looks nasty & messy and tortas don't even have sauce on top of the bun.

  • @elzipitio this ain't el Salvidor, dude! i guess you never had an authentic mexicano torta... loaded with sauce on top for moppin' and dippin! ya'll better stay south of the boarder!

  • @ElPasoTV I think authentic depends on where you're from.. I agree with Zip :\ It looks good, damn good, but "authentic mexican" is kind of... out there.

  • @elzipitio there is one torta that is dip in in a sauce is called torta aogada their from jalisco mexico

  • Today is August 23rd and I just received notice for thre Sirloin Steak video and did NOT receive any notice to the Grill Mates Torta Steak Sandwich nor the Carne Asada Flank Steak etc. video. They're really on the ball don't you think?????

  • The only thing forgot to do was to toast the bread. Torta bread is usually toasted....

  • @maton45 they grill toasted the torta at the end of the vid

  • thumps up if the intro song ROCKS !!!!!!!!!

  • Sumbitch that looks good!

  • 1 little complaint of otherwise exellent video. Sometimes my recently deceased grandma always said that you should never heat up Avocado because it will give it bad aftertaste or otherwise spoil the taste of creamy avocado.

But it didn't seem to bother all that much under all that other goodness you stuffed in that Torta. Or you probably knew that the taste would be spoiler and only heated it 5 minutes?

  • well, you just made me hungry, and it 3 am..

    thanks for the tips

  • You can tell there was just something special with the making of this sandwich

  • omg lord have mercy

  • That seemed like not enough meat on that sandwich... but it still looked great in the end..

  • arriba arriba arribaa arrbaaaa ;)

  • can i move in with you? ill clean the house and buy the food...you do the cooking and we will call it even!

  • That's not a knife... THIS IS A KNIFE!!!

  • Forgot the quseo...looks guut!!!

  • ¡WOW!

  • Just when I start to worry they'll run out of ideas, the boys come through with a fresh idea!

  • Why do I get the horrible feeling that the Barbeque Pit Boys are....REPUBLICANS?

  • you guys are simply the best:D

  • authentic steak torta...! thumbs up

  • the sauce at the end was too much maybe put it inside.....but good sandwich

  • that oooooowweee was epic!

  • carne asada is just about the only mexican style of meat to BBQ and you guys did a guuud one, MMMMMM

  • @raiders1369 that the only one you know about and the most popular

  • @trollanos carne asada for us chicanos is da shit all you you need is corn tortillas some salsa and literally eat off the grill & nail back some TECATE beer. Check out my video channel got some good BBQ videos

  • @raiders1369 yes bro i know and thats some nice bbq yo got there i just went yesterday to a carne asada good man like you said with some TKT niceee.!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  • great stuff. i didn't know that marinade's tenderized the meat. good to know. i always thought it was strictly for flavor.

  • @myrules1010 You didn't know that? That's like amateur knowledge right there.

  • @PsychoJosh I'm not even worthy of being called an amateur since I don't consider myself a cook. Right now, I think "hack" would best describe my skills :).

I just started watching this guy's stuff because his food looks so good and it's entertaining. I can't say that I really came here to learn stuff; although learning new stuff is a nice bonus.

  • pure awesomeness

  • woo hoo! Pit master does Mexican!!!!! Awesome!!!

  • I was going to spend my time indoors on the net. I am now off to the mart to get me some steak to make this up. Tomorrow is gonna be awesome.

  • 132 people before me tasted this piece of heaven

  • not bad i prefer my meat more cooked

  • @TerryMMA85 are you form the mid west

  • @mrdkaff im from england

  • @TerryMMA85 o ok,, but dont you find that it is no longer tender and juicy and flavorful,, but dry, tough, and lifeless?

  • @mrdkaff i love over cooking meat.any meat is lifeless unless you eat it raw off an animal with blood still pumping through its veins.
