I guess the answer is... working and taking your time ;) Start slowly, very slowly at first (50 or 60), and try to make it groove, marking every accent etc... When you feel comfortable at 50, try at 60, then 70 then 80 etc... Increase the speed gradually, and you'll find it sooooo easy in the end : it's coming almost naturally. And when I say take your time, I don't mean 5 minutes at 50, then try at 80. Better make it 30 minutes for a couple days...
16x16 floor tom, pinstripe head on top, ambassador head on bottom, both clear. Similar setup for the 12x9 rack tom, both heads tuned to same pitch, sometimes the bottom head is tuned a little higher. This was his Pearl kit and he used Remo skins.
fuckin happy days mint to see it live rather than a computer program.

Wish the videocam was recording on a setting which didn't skip frames the way this does. It's hard to see what the limbs are doing precisely.
I have a camera with that function, it's got a running man icon to let you know to use it for sports/action but I never do.
Great beats.

The cam used here is just a webcam, but I agree it could do with better quality.

I look forward to more examples in this style, if possible.
I've been a huge fan of listening to and performing it, so this just broadens my repertoire. Thanks for sharing the great ideas.
Cheers!
