@cybercat29 Fire and Ice has a badass character that is implied to be the Death Dealer. I hear that Robert Rodriguez is making a live action remake of it.

the name says it all...The Death Dealer...that's who he is...and what he does. As a fan for the last 31 years or so, i've seen much of Frazetta's fantasy work...but the Death Dealer series has to be my favorite...it's awesome!

@arhvash There was a series of books written about the Death Dealer by James Silke after the picture was painted. They are not that good in my opinion. The story behind the Death Dealer is better left to your own imagination.

I love Frank Frazetta's paintings. He is my favorite artist.

I measure how great an artist is by the amount of influence he has over the art community, and with that said, Frazetta was one of the greatest. His death dealer works were magnificent, but what makes him such a great artist is that they are almost a drop in the bucket compared to his "whole" body of work.

There is a line of books that Frank Frazetta made with Death Dealer. And I think they just started rewriting them into comic book form and there is some talk of a live action movie. It has been about 17 years since I had the books but it seems most of his power comes from a fight between him and the deamonic force which resides in the helm he has on his head...
