hello i am here in the hospital watching this cause i have Pancreatitis and mine was caused from a galstone getting caught in the galbladder tube (i think, a tube around there lol sry)
I recommend milk thistle tablets and tincture of black walnut/wormwood -- this stuff does wonders for your pancreas/liver/gallbladder. It kills all the parasites in your system. Take a few drops a day. Fasting one day a week is the best thing you can do for your liver/pancreas. It gives these organs time to rest and repair.
I am 21 yrs old and i had emergency surgery to have my gallbladder removed , it was diseased ridden from gallstones and just about all of the gallstones and pancres was clogged with stones, i had high lipase and amylase. I still feel it and i bet it came back, im gonna get checked again with my doctor.

No alcohol, no smoking, minimize stress. In some mild cases only one enzyme appears to be insufficient, try to find out wich one, is it the one for fat, protein or carbohydrates. For example: if the enzyme for fat fails, reduce fat in your nourishment to an absolute minimum. your doctor should prescribe you enzymepills. Small portions & Vegetarian food is preferable. Pancreatitis has from a holistic medical view to do with a lot of "indigestible problems". Get rid of it. Best of luck !

omg :( I felt the worse pain ever yesterday late at night. It reached to my back. I already have back pains I thought it was going to go. I went early this morning to the hospital diagnosed with pancreatitis. I should not eat fatty food for several days and if the pain didnt go I will go back again. I dont even drink im not even sure why this sudden of pain.
I really miss food :( specially fast food lol but im willing to give up all food for the pain to go.
im suffering CP now,had an ERCP few months ago, they didnt complete it and then i had an AP after it was over. I saw a surgeon the other day who told me, he cant help me, will have a cat scan(had one already) didnt show anything, had an MRCP showed dilation in CBD and pancreatic head. I am in pain, nauseous,and was told to go to pain managemnt and if anythng comes up on the catscan, they told me, chances are they will do nothing for me. I cried and said is that it. They looked away. Im very sick
I had acute pancreatitis, landed me in the hospital in July 2010. I couldnt eat anything for about 5 days, then i was put on liquid diet. A few months later and no more pain. That pain was horrible and it sucked!
@wamby1985 have you drank since? i just got it thing is... i am 20 and drink once every 2 - 3 months. and i prefer hiking over partying. i am bitter at the world because i take care of my self so much and then thss happens after one night of drinking. i dont even drink soda... i just want to know if you can retain some amount of alcohol... i turn 21 in 5 moths :/ and i want to be able to atleast have 2-3 drinks and celebrate
@GusBimbela Before i got pancreatitis it was really rare i would drink alcohol. After that horrible pain landed me in the hospital, i dont even want to drink alcohol & i gave up soda.

fill your life with good things to do and you won't miss the booze - what you will miss if you drink is any normal quality of life at all as you'll be doubled in pain and be bitter to yourself for getting yourself into that position.
@GusBimbela Hey man. Sorry NO ALCOHOL! even if you don't get another attack for another 20 years you can never eat fried foods or drink alcohol. One cheat meal can send you to hospital and pancreatic enzymes will digest half of your internal organs turning you into veggie. There is a very slim margin of error here and you always need to know what you are eating.

Had this. It hurts like hell. When I was diagonsed, I couldnt eat for a week, & had a diet of jello for 2 weeks. It took me a really long time to return to almost average health. It still effects me & takes my energy away.

@nhimrod123456 Yea. Pretty much the same story here. You ought to be recovered in a few months. If your still in pain at the current hospital your in, asks the nurses for pain meds, perferebly morphine. (if it makes you feel wierd/high, thats normal.) I hope for the best with you man. You will make it, it is just gonna be a long process of recovering. Best of luck to ya.

I had acute pancreatitis, landed me in the hospital in July 2010. I couldnt eat anything for about 5 days, then i was put on liquid diet. A few months later and no more pain. That pain was horrible and it sucked!
