nobody can deny that the cruze has better looks and mileage than those other two cars

all 3 are rice burners so i think its pretty stupid for anyone expecting power from these

This comparison is incomplete. If u compare Cruze vs Laura (laurin & klement) , then u wont even think of the cruze. But yes, the price difference between theses 2 variants is quite big. And dont forget cruze has quite a turbo lag unless u go for the automatic version . But for engine, skoda is always better than cruze.

Today, i went test driving the above mentioned 3 cars. As soon as i stepped into the Cruze, i was repulsed with the quality of the plastic ( yes, plastic it is) all around, cramped space - front and rear seats equally bad!

The Laura had an air of elegance, and the Jetta had pure German engineering and the handling - both competing for my money!

@raizwin awesome power and control. The accelerator is very sensitive. atuomatic transmission sucks. Use mannual transmission for better milage. legspace is average. not that big. boot is spacious. We got it a week ago. try it, you will like it. :)

looks amazing on the front but not that great at the back

feature rich great(i mean terrific) performance and average mileage.

average service by Chevrolet and various customers are facing clutch plate problems.

poor leg space a bit cramped on the inside.

but overall good car if there is no clutch plate problem.

if you are looking forward to buy this car talk to GM motors of they are going to work on the clutch plate problem or not.

Plz help me... many of them r saying that laura is a defective car..... Is that true ? it has many problems like AC cooling is low, blown turbos, poor service ...... I was planning to buy laura..... can i buy this car or not? help me

Personally I would never rate Cruze to be a good car. Its for Sissies... throws out so much of black soot from its exhaust when you try and push the accelerator even a little bit and just grunts until it reaches over 2000 RPM, while a Laura just disappears from in front of you in secs without any black smoke and its Six Speed DSG Automatic Gearbox,,,, OHHHHh its a wonder... Whatever GM does to its Cruze it can never match to the performance of a DSG Gearbox.

@muthu161 hi dude.......the laura is not a defective car at all...my dad owned one b4....but the thing is maintaining it is like having a white elephant in your home......it's not a poor man's car at all.....all the spare parts of skoda are of eye watering price.... and service provided by skoda is the worst of 'em all.....if money is not a problem for you and you can spend any amount for your car then i recommend you the laura..else go for the cruze.sry for the late reply mate

@muthu161 no dude that's actually totally wrong.. the laura is such a good car... but the only problem is the service and spares...and she's gonna bite you high on your pocket.. but if u are ready to spend more on services and spares, she is one heck of a car to own!!
