  • One man's death can greatly expose the lie that was this war. American's don't think of Iraqi deaths- Out of sight, out of mind and to be honest, we're so desensitized from hearing of Iraqi deaths it doesn't affect us. You can thank the american media also.

  • Funny how over 2.000.000 people in Irak have been killed in one of the biggest GENOCIDES in human history. Without a reason, without a justification. And there is so much talk about 000.000.001 soldier that was killed by friendly fire.

That's what imperialist mentality does to you. makes you a RACIST.

My soon's death is far more important than 2.000.000 people in another country.

The sickness of it all, is overwhelming.

  • It's all about MONEY - POWER and GREED ! sorry, but true...

  • They don't want to keep looking like they mess up every time they go to war ... How many times have they mistaken a military vehicle thinking it was the opposition? .. - Admitting this would just not help in gathering more poor children to join the Armed Forces - ..and you can take THAT to the bank..

  • what a shame and embarrassment , our our country, our own government, our very our US millitary lies to the nation and to the fallen millitary man,who also happened to eb famous, about how he died, knowingly lying to the nation, us, and to his own family..... what a fucking shame, now imagine, about what else the government may lie,if they choose the lie how Tillman died, its just a shame...i am surprised, there no outrage in this country about this...man,what a shame. God bless his soul!!!

  • my dog is a better hero.. fuck this asshole...

  • poor lady,no one should lose a son, expesally in this way.Keep on fighting!

  • The Tillman family, while suffering a serious loss, as have millions of parents. No amount of the family fortune they spend will ever bring him back. Pat's own blind nievity brought him to enlist. Had be been a brave man and stood up against the horror of a so called holy war the family would still have their money and more importantly, their son.

  • @forloveoffilm

Eh, so he didn't have a right to fight for his country? What's funny in all of this is we went into these "holy wars" told we were doing one thing and it turned out to be another. All of our soldiers has been duped.

Obama just increased the troops in Afghanistan by 30,000, so are they, the soldiers, are too "blind"? Most of which are against the wars to begin with.

  • @metorphoric The military supposedly hires only adults of legal age. If they were against the wars to begin with, they should have made a different career choice. So, to answer your question, yes, they are 'blind' and didn't do enough research before making an adult decision.

  • @forloveoffilm

OK. So everyone who joined the military after 911 were "blind" because they were told and believed like majority of Americans at the time that they were going to catch Bin Laden as well as find WMD?

When was info leaked that Pres. Bush knew about the attacks prior 911? Was that info not leaked until AFTER we'd invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. That makes you're entire point baseless.

These people gave their lives because of a lie told to them by our Gov't to make elites richer

  • @metorphoric Yes. War is not a matter to be entered into lightly, based upon public opinion polls. What a truly denegrating thought. Anyone who didn't look at the history of Bush dynasty controled oil interests in that region or the attempted assassination of Bush, pere. While I agree with your assessment that 'these people gave their lives because of a lie.' What I'm saying is the lie was 'in' long before that big September thing.

  • @forloveoffilm

Hm....I guess we can agree to disagree. I think you're dead wrong but it's your opinion.

  • @metorphoric: Here in Europe everybody on the street knew in late 2002 that there were no WMD in Iraq and there was no valid reason to start an Invasion. Americans could have known it too... but I think they didn´t care enough.

  • @MarkusW1983

So is that why France sent troops to Iraq along with Germany and England? I guess this countries didn't care or the UN for that matter. Please stop generalizing things to make your point sound somewhat valid. In fact, it does the exact opposite. "Everybody on the streets" in Europe were just as duped as millions of Americans AFTER the Gov't lied about why we were going into Iraq.

  • @metorphoric: Actually France and Germany didn´t participate in this war, just England... and everybody made fun of Blair because of it. Our media and politicians here in "Old Europe" didn´t lie to us (in this case) so really everbody with a TV or Newspaper knew in 2002 the US lies about WMDs were just an excuse for a war of aggression.

  • @MarkusW1983

    False.

There are over 5,000 German troops in Afghanistan and roughly 3,400 French soldiers.

Sorry buddy but it looks like Europe is in waist deep too. That doesn't sound like, (to quote you), regarding Europe role, "everybody with a TV or Newspaper knew in 2002 the US lies about WMD'..." to me.

Yup, you Europeans were just as duped. Welcome to the club .

    : )

  • @metorphoric : WTF are you talking about, must be trolling. I quote you: "So is that why France sent troops to IRAQ along with Germany and England?". Can´t you seperate two different wars/war reasons? We supported the USA against Taliban/Osama because of 9/11, but that had nothing to do with nonexisting WMDs in Iraq!

  • @MarkusW1983 they didnt' cafre about the WMD - that was a front - it was the OIL they wanted control of. Hence, why they went straight to it and took it over - they thought, you wanna kick the twin towers down on 911 - it's pay back time... that's the way they are... an EYE FOR AN EYE ...

  • Mary Tillman's book is called "Boots On The Ground By Dusk: My Tribute To Pat Tillman" It is very moving as well as alarming.

  • Fratricide? Fratricide is the killing of one's brother! Is she saying that there is murder amongst the troops, and this is systemic?

Wow, just one more reason to NOT become a soldier!

I used to think being killed by friendly fire was an incredible injustice, but to be MURDERED by your comrades-in-arms, is incomprehensible!

  • @Bongofury361 Yes, there have been thousands, just since the conflict in Viet Nam. It was only after this guys killing that I heard the term fratricide used. Just another in a long list of perfectly good words being subverted to mean something else.

  • I am glad to hear the truth still matters.

  • I want to buy this documentary. When does it come out?

  • @biguy617 I saw a screening of it last week, it will be in select theaters on Friday brought to you by Lionsgate Films. It should be out on Bluray just in time for the holidays and for Academy consideration.
