I was roaming around the Propeller website and saw your entry in their contest. All I can say is WOW! Nice job on Deepnote and congrats on your entry!
@sciguy14 did you ever think, when it was finished that it would fail? And also did you fix the issue about it missing the notes because of th lightning bolt coming down after it collected sstar power?
and if you do get it fixed do you think by then you might be able to sell it because I'll pay you at least $250 for it and I promise i will give you the money!!!!!!!!
I'm planning on making something like this. But I just want to make it programmable with note charts in advance (maybe I can work on real-time note detection later though). I noticed that your parts list got pretty expensive though... I wonder if there is a more minimal approach.
If you are just pre-programming, then you don't need the rack of the sensors, the sensors PCBs, the photodiodes, 5 LEDs, 5 Op-amps, and a bunch of resistors. You also don't need the D-sub connectors and cables.
i would like to make one and i went to the website and i saw the instructions and i was like 0_____o i have no knowledge in this at all lol its complicated
cool but i got my fingers to rape guitar hero

Does this only work on certain television screens? Mine is rounded, not flat. Would that interfere with the bot's ability to read the notes? :(

The sensors are adjustable, both forward/backward and left to right, so yes, it should work.

@sciguy14 thanks......
i have one more question....

@robinator259 Yes, we fixed that for the most part, but it still causes problems in some instances.
sciguy14 1 year ago
@sciguy14 why do you think that is????
robinator259 1 year ago
@robinator259 Because it blocks the notes and sets off the sensor.

Not to sound like one of those 1337 GH players/haters, but what made you think, "I'm going to build a hardware bot for Guitar Hero"?
