Oh I forgot to mention that you have even softened your tone when it comes to criticizing the Syrian regime. You're even buying into the crap the Syrian regime is trying to propagate about armed mobs brutally killing soldiers. No wonder why you were allowed into Syria,
You think all Arabs revolutions were inspired by the one that took place in Lebanon on the 14th of March 2005? Holy crap, you're so pathetic and even became very repetitive. You've even lost all the credibility and objectivity you once had. You're no better than Thomas Friedman whom you're mocking here. For the sake of all you're good articles and reporting in the past, do humanity a favor and just go retire. Cheers!
What's the point are you trying to make here? or you're just blindly defending him? Well I raised few points in my posts that clearly indicate why I am criticizing him, try to come up with a counter argument to refute them in case you got any. Apparently, what I said is too complicated for an outsider such as yourself to understand. Besides, I used to be a fond admirer of Mr. Fisk until he lost all his credibility.
Mind telling me what point he 'lost all his credibility' at?
+ I do think comparing him to Friedman was a bit much..the two are diametrically oppossed in terms of Journalism.. if you *really* think Fisk's articles in the Independant are the same as Friedman's articles in the New York Times, you're deluded.
Just see the way he softens his tone when it comes to criticizing the Syrian regime. No wonder why he was allowed into Syria and even showed up on Syrian state TV. Check his previous articles in which he used to criticize the regime, once he got there he started buying the "plot" theory that the regime himself has been trying to propagate.
Again as an outsider, you wouldn't be able to understand all what's going on in the region. It has also to do with the internal politics in Lebanon. I am Lebanese and Lebanon has been home to Mr. Fisk for more nearly 36 years.

@pacifico228 What's your big objection with that theory? I don't see any reason to be so critical of Fisk's work...

What pointless vitriol..
Please spew your vacuous spite elsewhere; or else be prepared to go into arguments at-length - your comment showed you're unwilling to do this.
Infact, it almost looks like you're trying to discredit him.. without reason, I might add.
''No better then Friedman''
Piss off.
