I liked how it was about family more than money. That show and Petticoat Junction.
I used to laugh alot watching Green Acres and I just loved Laugh In. I just loved Lilly Tomlin and Goldie Hawn which makes me think about Kurt Russell and great Disney Films like the LoveBug.
I have a lot to say about this for the television et movie et music et literary industry.

Yes, Campbell Soup Company replaced R.J. Reynolds as the "alternate sponsor" in 1967, 'Bobby' (at the same time they were sponsoring "LASSIE" on Sunday nights).
you know what this show and The Addams Family have in common? Both have a theme song that includes product placement (The Addams Family advertised Crest toothpaste)
I remember when they syndicated this show to a local independent in D.C. around 72', one time they forgot to end the theme where it usually ends and it started into this Kellogg's verse, but they cut it abruptly before they reached the billboard.
Kellogg's sponsored for all seasons, WInston sponsored until 1967 (i thnink) and then Campbell's Soup was the alternate sponsor. I do remember Frosted Mini-Wheats being introduced in 1970 -71 when The Beverly Hillies ended.
It was amusing whenever they showed a scene with Jethro eating corn flakes out of a giant mixing bowl! Of course the box of Kellogg's would be sitting next to him on the kitchen table.
This sponsor I.D. originally followed the opening title during the first three seasons {NOW you know what Jed was pointing at!}; Kellogg's sponsored the series until 1969. R.J. Reynolds {Winston} was the "alternate sponsor" until 1967...

@Juliaflo Indeed it is! When I was 11 years old, she came to town and put on a show at the civic auditorium---her TV show was on the air at the time.
