  • yes i will. thhey have been picking up my trash before i was even born and ever since thhey have all been nice to me. they jave always taking extra stuff for me like carpet , alpliancces u name it whenever .. but my goal is o wrk with thwm every summer and holidays like christmas and all of the larger holidays. i plan to stay with them for a long time and when im in university i want a degree in biusness and enginerring and plan on buying the company over. lucky for me there no to big :D

  • lol some pretty big plans you've got, stick to it though :)

  • yu should work on an rl dude r u allowed to work at 14 in canada

  • lol if i do i am first gunna try to work with on the MSL'S and if not then the RL'S

  • In Denmark you can work after school when you're 13, but not with heavy machinery or chemicals outside your home before you're 18/16. To operate a compacting waste container you must be 18, but to drive your dads combine in the field you must be 12 I think. (To drive it on the road you must be 16 and have the tractor drivers licence).

Those age rules suck, they should be the same allover the world...

  • ya u are right but everwhere is diffretn and i dont think they plan on changing anyime soon which kinda sucks :(

  • its actually 14

  • LOL you serisously wanna work on a garbage truck? dude..get your prioritys straight........workin on a truck isnt as holly jolly as it seems..i worked on a rearloader for a bit....it sucked....you get home tired an smelling like old diapers and rotten food.....and what..so you can ride on the back of a stinky old truck?

  • well obisously u dont have the blood of a garbage man bra. i have been around garbage trucks since i was a toddler and well the smell u get use to the smell after a while.

  • lol that what he thinks but maybe with a different driver :)

  • good luck on working for him he's all saying too himself dont need a swamper

  • im not plannig on workng with him and the olny way im working is if my grades are good but i will then either work on a rearloader of recycling msl

  • kinda sounded like he was given you a atitude near the end

  • lol im not to sure but hes a nice guy :)

  • Is this split? The bucket looks 90/10 but that would make sense if it's from Portland, they have to keep glass separate...

  • nope the paper portion is 10 then 50 cardboard and then the rest is all the plastics

  • was this single stream

  • nope this was three stream paper, Cardboard and plasctic glass and alll that kind of material

  • o. thanks

  • So the truck owners get paid and a few of them keep some of the money for truck cost and profits and hire a guy to do it for them. It is not a very big company but they have been picking up trash/recycling since 92 and just started there second contract just this year and continue on with there first one from 92. HOWEVER the garbage side of things he owns all the trucks.

  • yes u did it sounds weird but the guy (only) guy that does bins was contracted by remple disposal and olny has one truck. how it works is there is this guy who picks up all the bins from each 4 collection days and he has been there for a while and therefor has the company colors. there is one owner of the company. The other guys own the trucks but the main guy pays the other guys who own a truck or trucks to pick up.

  • Did I hear that right... Did he say that all the driver's own their own trucks?
