Question... Why didn't Google just integrated Google Talk into the Google+ app? I mean, Huddle just does what GTalk does, you can talk with Android/iPhone/Blackberry/what­ever users AND with people on their PCs, and you reduce the memory space required for Google+ to install on your phone! What does Huddle have that GTalk doesn't have or can't be added with an update?

@Alita258 Huddle is for Android devices only. That's another reason why Huddle isn't better than GTalk.

The only good thing about Huddle is talking directly with your circles fast and easy instead of having to contact each and every person for a GTalk session.

Theres no file sharing, picture, video sharing, NOTHING! Why couldn't they made it into a BBM while ath it? Every major mobile OS has there own messenger with media sharing, its rare for goog to be behind but the suck when it comes to messaging.

That was THE most confusing concept video for a feature. When I heard about this I went looking for it on the desktop - it's not there, you do group chat on the desktop (which is kind of hidden). It's only on mobile (hence only on Android until iPhone app). The woman rambling on in the background, the fast moving text - totally didn't get it and that's not like Google videos.

If you're on a PC it just has normal Google Chat.

So it's basically messaging a group of people you know? I used to really love Google, but this doesn't even do anything new or improves on an existing thing. It's literally just sending messages to a group that you defined in your group list.

Huddle is a great idea. Some friends of mine and I have been using a jabber client to connect to a named chatroom (so that you can join without being "invited"). This basically accomplishes that - A friend circle can just join at-will.

Is there a way to get to Huddle with the web client for Google+? All I see is Hangout (the voice+video version). I want to be able to use the Huddle service without being on my phone.

What's up with so many people sipping on the haterade...no company is perfect, all fall and have the opportunity to get back up again. I think that Google+ has much more potential than Google Buzz and Google Wave had. Yes they were flops, but you learn from your mistakes. Google+ is in the beginning stages and yes they need and will probably add more features. Facebook definitely isn't what it was when it first launched. Give Google a break and see what they do with this. You might be surprised.

I belonged to Google+ and it's filled with Google fanboys, and cheerleaders. I joined, was underwhelmed at the features- they were just like Facebook but with new names, and trivial functionality changes.

I pointed out flaws and potential solutions in the discussion forum and I was greeted by hostility and dismissiveness.

Of the four people I knew who joined before I did, all of them have left.

Now we have vague, stupid ad-like videos that explain nothing.

This will not end well for Google.
