He only retired because he had severe hand problems. Dude hit so hard that his own hands couldnt take the impact anymore. Floyd has the same problems but doesn't hit nearly as hard as Naz did. Sure Barrera beat him but he took the whoopin like a man and never gave up. True Champ. If he would have continued, there is no doubt in my mind he would have improved and destroyed everyone including Barrera. Sometimes you get too confident and thats why he lost. He could have beat Mayweather and Pacman.

Having said that, he had extraordinary natural-talent, was one of the great showman of the sport (certainly of his era) and may have the best highlight reel in the entire sport.
