sorry but he's NOT world class, not by any margin lol. Maybe in the eyes of the british media or united fans. Doesn't have exceptional pace, or dribbling ability to go past players or a good goals to shots ratio. There is NOTHING special about him. Every few moments like this video that makes you go WOW. But having said that he is a very very good player. He works hard and is physically strong. He can also drop deep and help out the midfield. Im sure a lot of teams would love to have him.

Rooney pretty much starts and finishes every game (no matter how bad his form) so i won't be surprised if both of them had equal playing time.
