Wow, ironic it is that I find this only a few months later after hearing Bill Hicks' original comedy wrap-up bit. Those are words that will always stay with me, from the first time I heard them.

Very nice take on it, more serious than his at the "shut him up!" parts. Almost Pulp Fiction/Fear and Loathing in LV style. Good work!

Excellent vid dude, I credit the effort to get this out more than the finished product.

However, Bill says "when you get on the ride" and not "when you choose to".. The point here is quite significant as we don't choose to get on the ride we are already on it. The first step is self awareness and the realisation that this is just a ride. Then comes choice, between fear and love.

It is two months later and i restumble back onto this video and see my comment.. He does say "when you choose to" because we are one with god.. we are god... and up there with him we do choose to go on a ride... the ride being life...

The problem is most people are too comfortable on the ride. They are scared of change. Hey, I do not know what to expect if we change the ride. What know happen to my 401K if we illegalized drugs? What kind of world would we have if the criminal elite were bought to justice? Who would take the tickets to get on the new ride?

The problem I see with this strategy is million different people going in a million different directions. We the people need to decide what kind of ride we want as a country/world. We Must Unite To Get What We Want!

1) Big Oil is the biggest criminal. The technologies are available to get off fossil fuels. We must unite around this cause.

2) Get rid of the FED and the international bankers from controlling our money supply.

3) Restore the constitution and insist our leaders follow its mandate.

4) Get money out of politics. Public financed elections.

If we can unite around these and other important causes we can have a ride that the whole world can enjoy. Not just the selected few.

i think you are right up to a point. not much is going to change if I'm the only one that wants to wake up and make a change. but there is no way you're going to get the whole world to "come together" and "unite."
