His own recording studio in Memphis produced four albums: "Chocolate Chips" (1975), "Disco Connection" (1975), "Groove-A-Thon" (1976), "Juicy Fruit (Disco Freak)" (1976) and a live double album "A Man And A Woman" (1977) with soul diva Dionne Warwick. Further, Isaac had made an album for his male background singers The Masquerades.

Patti Austin recorded this tune too in 1980. Isaac Hayes wrote it in the spring of 1975 for the first album on his own record company HBS.
