@tytyttt8 haha being the lead of the vagrants... that can count as a valid authority :). So I just need to change my bari and lead's part at the end then. Thanks for stopping by and look into this! I love your stuff with the vagrants man!
@koolmaneys For my video editing I use Sony Vegas, for my audio I use Sonar Cakewalk and then I sync both. If you have any more questions on the subject, please send me a private message. Take care!
Is this tag written down anywhere? It seems to me that tags would be the ensemble's personal touch and interpretation of each different song, but to have this written out would help me a lot in arranging to see what kind of style they use. I'm not quite experienced enough to grab all of this by ear, but I've done it enough to be remarkably impress by their version AND your facsimile :)
Long story short, even though you recorded this by ear, do you have a shareable written version?
I'm glad you paid such close attention to the music :) The last chord from bass to tenor is: B, D#, B, F#. But you can probably barely hear that 5th because of the B overtone and the loud Lead B as well. I'm very sorry, but I don't quite understand what you meant by your last question. What's supposed to be higher than the octave?
Thank you very much dude, now I understand your question as well :) I'm glad we got that all sorted out :D. I really appreciate you taking the time to really listen to the song :)
@sgtsonny I could be wrong, but I believe the spread is 1-1-3-5. First chord of the tag is 1-3-5-1, then 1-5-1-3, then 1-1-3-5 for the last one. Colin (baritone) can be heard in falsetto on the third.
@gordonice hmm I"m pretty sure it is the way I recorded it, of course I could be wrong (I have been wrong in the past, since I try to do everything by ear instead of reading it from the sheet). So I'm not going to argue on that one :)
I listened to this with my friend Julie who can't stand listening to barbershop... and she loved it! Wanted to listen again. I absolutely loved it too. Awesome bud.
forget the chordbusters march...that intro was insane!!!!

Wow! You are AWESOME!!!!! I wish you sang Eric Whitacre's creations. Especially the Animal Crackers. They'd sound great with your lovely voice

Hey Sonny, Gordon was right. The final spelling is 1-1-3-5. -Jonny (lead, vagrants)

Correct me if i'm wrong.... I could barely hear the 5th at the end?
Isn't it supposed to be higher than the octave?

@sgtsonny yeah i already got my answer from the octave thing...
I was asking whether or not the tenor part (F#) is below the lead's octave lolz..... and clearly it is higher! YOU GOT SOME RANGE!!!
