They say non-Christians make up their own morals. That's true! I'm not a Christian and today I will shun child abuse and support gay marriage ;P. Joking aside, I did volunteer work for a at a help center. When we were low on funds, we would refer people to area churches. (The bible states that it is the churchs' place to take care of the poor, needy, sick, etc.) Apparently, these places of worship didn't read that part because they called me and told me not to refer them anymore. F* hypocrites.

I sat at church while the priest made me feel like shit while he was blabbing on about how i had the worth of an ant, and that i dont do anything good that its only because of god, The day i said fuck this shit was the day my life changed and it has been amazing, i believe in myself to do my own shit and ive never been happier.

As soon as I decided to live my life my way, and not according to some bullshit religious way, my life has been so much better. It's amazing how fast it changed and how much happier I am. I'm glad you got out. I wish more people would wake up and start living a real life, and not an imaginary one where you are only happy, after you are dead.

Even if you rationalized to yourself that there is no God, but were surrounded by a loving community, would you leave? Religion is a vessel, it in itself is not bad, its the people that steer it that are. Without religion, other vessels would fill the void, with which others would use to control.

I am a devout Christian, and I agree with this video. Some of them may say: "give it to God" or "let God solve your problems" but in many if not all things it is YOU who has to make something happen. Just like the title of one of your fine videos said: "Change starts with you". And I do have some doubts about the "original sin" doctrine and all. Perhaps its just that humans have the ability to will or do evil, but also the same propensity to do good on their own too?
